With the NHS still undergoing immense pressure, many people are unable to access basic medical care for themselves and their families. As the country heads back to work, maintaining their health and wellbeing becomes ever more important.

We here at Well Covered, in association with 1Stop4aGP, want to offer you a service that helps to give back that peace of mind. For £55 a year, you and your family will have access to a BMA registered, currently practising GP available on a 24/7 basis via phone and video. There are no limits to consultation times, you can speak for as long as is needed. Any prescriptions arising from the consultation can be sent directly to the home or workplace if appropriate. 1Stop4aGP: Core Service - Patient Journey

  • Call our number, which can be found on your Access Instruction Page (included in your membership pack)

  • In the appointment booking process, you will be asked to quote your association name as it appears on your Access Instruction Page.

    You will then be asked whether you wish to book a phone or video appointment (video appointments available 8am-10pm)

  • Your consultation will take place on the day and time arranged. You can speak to the GP for as long as you need, there is no time limit.

  • If there is a prescription required following the consultation, this will be arranged between you and the GP to be delivered to either your home or workplace.

    Prescriptions are delivered by our pharmacy delivery partner, Pharmacy2u.

  • If there is any further treatment required, then a recording of the call / video chat can be sent to your own GP for further treatment or NHS referral.

  • Alternatively, if you have private medical insurance, a referral can be sent to your PMI provider for follow up and specialist treatment.
